Chengdu Auto Show: facelifted Suzuki Alto debuts in China

The facelifted Suzuki Alto debuted today on the Chengdu Auto Show in China and it has been listed on the China auto market immediately. Price starts at 39.900 yuan and ends at 64.300 yuan. The facelift included a new front, some changes at the back and an updated interior.

The Suzuki Alto is made in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture that also makes the Swift and the SX4. Until only three years ago they also made the ancient first-gen Alto, a car that is by la way still in production in China today, now made by Jiangnan Auto. Engine for the facelifted Chang’an-Alto is a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder with 71hp and 92nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.

indi pa yata ubos yung F8D Alto and K10 has just been released. Mukhang matagal pa siguro yan considering the few market cut of Suzuki. Im not into this facelift version, Alto looked like it was copying designs of Picanto, Spark, or Eon. The old school version I have may be boring for you but for me old school is cool.

hmmm, nalito yata kita sir sorry hehe. what I mean is yung China version above will be the facelift of the current Celerio (1.0), while yung post ko yung papalit sa Alto (800cc) dito.

Sabi na nga ba it can't be an Alto because of the tail lights. Looked more like a Celerio facelift.

Kawawa naman Celerio owners ngayon kung ganyan (China ver.) yung ilalabas ng Suzuki as Alto. Hehe. Mas maganda pa yung facelift Alto kaysa sa exisiting Celerio.

At least man lang may distinction sana, which is why ben_david's post seems more precise na iyon nga ang actual unit na ilalabas dito as the new facelifted Alto.

im not sure about the looks, but for sure mas sumasabay sa rival Hyundai Eon. I still have a soft spot for the K10's nineties look

classic ika nga hehe.

regarding my personal taste naman, maganda ang modern designed exterior cars ngayon no doubt. pero mabilis ako magsawa sa ganun compared sa mga old school designs hehe.
