Well, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Wala naman bumili ng Alto with safey in mind. Pinili natin ang Alto kasi makakabili tayo ng brand new car na mura. Be very diligent in driving safely since ang number safety feature ng Alto ay ikaw na driver. So Alto guys, no reckless driving.

you can get a ballpark range of prices on your cars in question.
and as always, the main question in used car purchasing, is the condition of the unit. the price is dictated largely by the market, but the condition of the car... that varies a lot.

Hello po suzuki alto 800 owner po ako. San po ba pwede mag palagay ng cigarette lighter socket? At magkano kaya estimated price? Under warranty pa din yung sasakyan sa suzuki. Covered kaya yun pag pina request ko? Salamat po sa mag response

if still under warranty, you may lose the warranty if the cigarette lighter is installed outside the casa.
but once outside warranty, any decent shop in, let's say banawe, can do it. it's not really expensive.. a few hundred bucks total siguro..
have it done in casa? well, the warranty will be retained. but... ano ba ang mura sa kasa? ako nga.. nagpalagay lang ng isang ceiling handhold, kulang kulang 800 bucks siningil sakin..

Good day. Pls help. Naglocked one rear wheel ng alto ko. Ano po kaya reason nun? 1 week lng nmn hindi nagamit. Dati 1 month nakastock hndi nmn nglock. As in nagslide nlng ang isang gulong. Thanks

Got me an 2012 Alto K10 bought Nov 2012 it is made by Maruti in India (sila din ang nagdevelop). Mga naging issues ko:

-aux fan problem w/ fuse initially then the fan won't crank much later. had it replaced with a surplus fan from a pajero pero tingin ko carbon brush lang yung issue nung orig aux fan...mapapatakbo pa.
- power window - first to give is yung driver side. bought surplus na sa crv dati. ngayon yung sa passenger side naman ang bumigay. di ko pa napapapalitan.
- trunk and fuel cables - pinalitan pareho; surplus yung sa fuel, orig yung sa trunk.
- masakit mawalan ng immobilzer key.

practical car with minimal electronic parts kaya less parts to worry about. engine has been running reliably and matipid sya sa gas. it would make an excellent second car as mine was driven twice a week (motor ang prime mover ko) and quick runs ng cainta to tagaytay at least once a month. maintenance wise, may parts naman sa olympia, fronte saka super power sa banawe-araneta area.

too bad na kailangan na namin ng malaki-laking sasakyan kaya i'm letting it go. but for some reason, don't expect much on resale value if you want to sell it later on. if you want a good price, be the direct seller. babaratin kayo sa buy and sell/trade in not as fast moving as toyota, mitsu and honda.

after a wet and/or flooded drive?
it happens.
with the car in gear, push the car forward and backward, until the adhesion between the brake shoe and the brake drum, breaks.
or, you can start the engine and put it in gear forward, then backward, playing with the clutch, until the adhesion breaks.

afterward, a trip to the mechanics and have them brakes cleaned.
personally, however, kahit nilinis pa nila, ay u-ulit nang u-ulit lang...

errr... pano nyo po nalaman na isang wheel lang ang nag-lock?

Thanks for the response. Nalaman ko na isang gulong lng nung pinaandar ko, nagslide lng yung right rear wheel sa semento, nagmark yung gulong.

May tanong din po ako, ung suzuki alto 800 ko maingay ung makina na parang jeep o helicopter ang tunog pero sa tinatapakan ung clutch nawawala
