Oh I see.
So an 11km/l is just fine.
Maybe was expecting something more than that...the print ad says 32km/l in a controlled run...15km/l in normal urban driving...or maybe he's benchmarking it with my car's 1.5 i-vtech engine's 12k/l performance.
But I read in one of the Alto forum threads that the k/l performance improves after the 5K PMS...is it true?

But I agree with you, I can also make that baby sip just a liter of petrol every 15k.

sir hindi niyo po ako na-gets. kung ako for example pina-drive niyo ng 1.5 niyo, nasa 6-7km/l lang ako sigurado. like I said, super badass driving na yung 11km/l ko sa alto lolz.

15km/l kung daddy driving (sa city under very heavy traffic), naitatak ko na ito, kaso nakakatamad ang ganitong driving.

FC kasi madaming factors... but based on our experience... newly bought alto can go up to 10km/L in a badass driving, after 5k it will improve a lot..

right now i am getting min of 12km/l pure city driving (caloocan to taguig) and tipid mode up to 15km/l

Post ko lang opinion ko about gas tipid ng Suzuki alto ko. 100 liters/month lang budget ko sa gas, makati to quezon city lagi biyahe ko, my kasama pang sundo sa cubao at lakwatsa tuwing linggo. Sa ibang sasakyan, yung 100 liters 15 days lang kaya. Pag binibida ko nga FC ng alto sa mga kakilala ko, namamangha sila.

Hi guys,, done at my 5k pms today... my alto is 6months today, so ng pa pms na me kahit 3k palang odo ko. done at suzuki shaw casa, i bring my own oil top1 fs 3L, oil filter, bought from olympia as per team alto advise, pumayag ang casa to bring my own oil because of TCP, so damage nila is handling fee+misc fee = P445.. free car wash pa... mabait ang manager si sir walter, pagdating ko asikaso agad nya...w. free coffee or tea,and watching nba habang nag aantay.. ayon ala pa 2hrs tapos na... so guys try nyo sa kanila pag ayaw nyong ma void ang warranty ng tsikot nyo...

I saw a loaded Alto on display in Trinoma yesterday. The salesman said that for the 3-year warranty period the cost of PMS is on them. Is it really free, or is he just pulling my leg?

yung labor siguro ang sinasabi niya. pero yung materials ikaw pa rin. anyway, napakamura lang ng maintenance ng alto. sa ibang kotse yung presyo ng PMS nila eh sa Alto pinalitan na yung buong pang-ilalim mo.

In my experience, mga P850 lang nagagastos ko every change oil ng Alto:
oil filter VIC - 150php
3L oil 15W - 450php (ok lng na ordinary oil periodic naman sha pinapalitan eh)
Labor (Shell) - 250php

Kasama na dun tune-up eheheh.
