Questions on Suzuki Beaver

Please help. Plano kong bumili ng Suzuki Beaver 4x4 para sa probinsiya. Eto sana gusto kong malaman:

1. Ano ang stock engine ng Beaver? Ang binibenta kasi sa akin a 4K ang engine. Tama ba ito?

2. Local ba ang mga Beaver or mga Japan din at converted?

3. Low maintenance ba ang Beaver? Maraming mabibilhan ng parts?

local ang beaver from suzuki....so the engine is not stock (4K is a toyota engine).

But if i recall it right the beaver was a 1000cc or less displacement engine...a 4K is 1300cc...thus mas malakas and 4K.

Another thing with 4K (on that beaver) parts are cheaper pa rin..so maintenance is cheap than putting it back to its stock engine.

Parts, I'm not sure kung marami...there are not much beaver around...mostly yung sumunod na model na ng Suzuki - Samurai ang tawag.

The Samurai is bigger brother of the Beaver...but I'm not sure if they share the same chasis and underchasis part.

Is it a good buy?!? Depending on the price... if it is running (4x4 mode), all electricals malinis and working, no body damage or rust rut... that is already high if sold for P100k or more. A suzuki samurai is between P80-180K depending on condition now a days.

For a toy 4x4, I would like to get one!
