Great thread Carlo! :D The Grand Vitara looks good. Looks like Suzuki is on the right track!

September 10th, 2005 04:59 PM #12parang masikip ang legroom sa likod...
di ba under powered sa 2.0 (remember the 2.0 escape mas matakaw pa kesa sa 3.0V6)
parang masikip din ang cargo...

September 10th, 2005 06:23 PM #15Looks nice, I dont prefer the color of the display model though. Black would look better. I'd probably also change the rims. But overall it seems to be a good buy.
How are the seats, are they comfy?

nakita ko din po ito last Wed evening, i went to see the swift (ganda kasi ng review ng tsikot eh). i ended up falling in love with the grand vitara's ... torn lang po if old or new model i-consider ko if i buy one in Q4... kasi yung old model, loaded with P80k axesoriz, may discount pa pwede i-negotiate with it's Php1.079M price tag. poging-pogi din ... bagay for a lady tsikoteer like me :-)

September 11th, 2005 01:49 AM #20Test drove the grand vitara last week. Found it a bit underpowered. I was hoping that it would be as responsive as the mazda tribute 2.3L. Sana they would also release the 2.7L variant... but the body and the interior is nice.
as above, if you want to go OEM-style, get a "spare tyre lock". but i use an ordinary cheap...
