i suggest basahin mo kung ano yung nasa manual, yung car manufacturer ang mas nakaka-alam kung ano gagawin.

di ko na matandaan kung ano yung nakalagay sa manual pero nagbreak in pa rin ako. wala naman mawawala kung gagawin ko eh.

btw iba naman ang nababasa ko, avoid staying on the same gear/speed.

Yup, as per manual and yung mga naaalala ko pa...

• avoid doing high revs at low gears
• avoid staying in constant speed (I personally enjoyed doing 80kph for 1 min, then up to 90, then 100, then down to 90 then up to 110, while going to Subic. Hehe)
• avoid hard stops and fast acceleration

Basically, just drive it like normal, and not like a lunatic and you're good to go. :D

hello swift owners, newbie here i'm planning to have my first car and my 1st choice is swift. First time I set my eyes on swift, sabi ko this will be my first car lol. So now that I can afford to get a car, do you think guys ok sya for first time owners? I zero knowledge yet on car driving, technicalities etc (hopefully will learn a lot on driving school). Also, gusto ko sana yung puting puti, i haven't seen the metallic arctic white of 1.2. Yung 1.4 may snow white, but an agent told me na hindi na nagbebeta ng 1.4 here in ph..

Mga paps, feedback naman if ok lang balak kong gawin to use a 10w40 semi synthetic oil for my 10k PMS.

I'll probably be sticking to every 5 month PMS, as it's almost improbable for me to hit 5K KMs before 6 months.

ok lang kung sa ok, pero mas maganda kung 5W30 ang gamitin mo. makapal yan IMO para sa k12b engine, baka humina hatak nyan dahil malapot tapos less protection pa sa makina.

ahh ganun ba? ano ba ok semi synthetic na 5W30 (na-cheaper than casa oil )? Nanghihinayang kase ako kung mag FS ako tapos less than 6 months lang, oil change ulet.

Bro suzuki genuine oil is 5w30 unless iba nilalagay nila sa casa. Plano ko balik sa sgp yun sakin tutal madalas ako magpa pms (5k before 3 months hehehe). Tska nako mag high end fully synthetic pag wala na sigurong warranty.

Baka lang kasi may mga dagdag na non essentials (engine flush, treatment, wash, etc) yung ibang dealer kaya hindi tugma ang quote. Or pwede rin na may promo discount sa labor panghatak ng customer. I just find it weird na magka-iba ang basic parts at labor costs among dealerships. But if it is, then it is.

Walang engine flush?

Sa Pasig kase, every 10k PMS may engine flush sila eh. Ipapa-skip ko nga eh, feeling ko hindi naman necessary. Tignan ko kung papayag.
