ang lakas ng dating ng Grand Vitara!!! talagang hinabol ko pa yung nakasalubong kong Vitara sa T.M. Kalaw street eh kahit papunta akong StarCity! ang lakas ng dating talaga! it has a mean stance and mukhang rock solid ang pagkagawa!

New rav4 or GV? naku! GV ako

Triggerman222 Ok naman yun ride and for me it's better than the CRV coz we have the CRV din. wala lang kami mga korean at toyota sa segment na ito.

I got the Azur Grey......Bluish Grey.

Wala pa rin plaka upto now sana hindi mahuli.

Hindi naman matagtag unlike yun CRV namin (no offense sa crv owners) nakakahilo sumakay sa likod. pero pag ikaw driver ng CRV ok lang.

Comparing the GV to escape and CRV in terms of interior......PANALO and GV super............. sa power naman parang CRV. sa aircon malamig naman sila lahat.....I like the stereo ng GV parang yun mazda3 at Prado namin built in kasi sa dashboard (wag lang masisira).

Pag dating sa 4x4 sympre no comparison yun Rav4, CRV at Escape na 2.0L engine kasi wala sa kanila naka 4x4 (i'm not sure if may 4x4 na escape na 2.0L if meron sure ako sobra hina na)

O nga pala we got the AT

thanks. i drive a gen2 crv (10-seater version). medyo matagtag although nakakasanay naman. (okay let me correct that: hindi lang "medyo" -- matagtag talaga siya.) lagi akong napapa-take two sa paglingon sa GV kasi sobrang ganda talaga. what do you mean mas panalo ang interior ng GV kaysa sa CRV? mas maluwag? mas maganda ang itsura? mas okay ang plastics? how's the AT? wala namang shift-shock? hows the after-sales service at suzuki (esp with regards to the regular preventive maintenance service)? (dami kong tanong sorry.) man, kung papalarin, hopefully by next year makabili sana niyan.

whoops dagdag: may prado kayo? now i'm really truly green with envy.

I actually like the new GV.

My boss has one and is selling it, he wants to get the new RAV4. It's less than 2 months old, done around 2,500 kms. Silver color and has personalized license plates (3 letters and 2 numbers). He is selling for 1m.

    Smooth,

Ok yun interior in terms of layout and i believe it's more roomier than the Gen 2 CRV but the GV has no 3rd row seats kaya mas malaki leg room sa 2nd row and maganda rin mga plastics sa GV compare sa CRV at Escape pero kasi GV is the latest compare to the 2.

I like the dashboard very much and also it comes with climate control but not so hightech (walang display na LCD kasi) but still way better compare to the regular controls.

As for the shift shock i would admit that the CRV is better in this department but the shift shocks is acceptable compare to the old cars.

The GV is strickly 5 seater kasi yun harap nya is 2 bucket seats unlike the CRV gen2 naka bench.

Yun prado namin GAS yun pero sobra ok ride at interior may pagka luxury.

    Jrln,

The GV that I had is the AT version which they sell for 1.275M and they also have a MT version but i'm not familiar with the price.

Yun binebenta ng boss ni glockmeister26 mura yun for 1M if AT considering the low mileage and less than 2 months old so it's a 2006 model if hindi pa ako nakabili ng GV ko i'll take that one for sure. (sana i find it out earlier i could have save 275T)

    What's shift shock?

I drive a gen2 CRV, how would the GV's power stack up against the CRV? Personally I find the CRV's power sufficient but am looking for a bit more oomph so I'm thinking of buying a compact suv with a 2.4 liter or bigger engine.

Shift shock is a like a slight jerk, tug, or etc, that lets you know that the car has changed gears (in an automatic transmission).

    Hi Guys!

I also got the new GV. Ok naman so far and I'm happy about it. I tried it on some off-road trails already, and maganda handling. Great cruiser too in the highway. My worst gas consumption was 6.5 km/L.

Had our 2nd full tank of gas yesterday and the consumption of the GV is 4.7km per liter of HIGH OCTANE fuel but i had to say it's all city driving.

Today I took her out on the NLEX and was able to hit 160km without any rattles or what so ever. Most likely my next post would be the consumption for Hway on the 2.0L GV

Honestly I think it's a matter of time they will bring here the powerful 2.7L GV but for sure it will cost more and would be more thirsty on Gas.

4.7 km per liter?! holy crap that's a gasaholic bro! mas malakas ba yun sa tribute or crv? will drop by suzuki later to check it out. curious lang ako. what happens when you put premium gas lang? baka naman if its looks are to die for, its gas consumption will hammer the nail on the coffin hehehe. ayuz!
