    with the new price of the RAV4, I think that the new vitara's price is already on the low
    side of new compact SUVs. baka yun next gen CRV mahal na rin parang RAV4

    1.18M nga... what does it mean monocoque with built-in ladder frame? is it a truck, or isn't it?

    yep... i test drove one last week... the ride is ok although i cant compare it to any compact SUV coz ive never drove one... the acceleration is enough... the interior is very nice...i wish they offer the V6 variant though...

    They don't share the same platform.
    The Equinox uses a Theta platform which is FWD/AWD and has a transverse engine, one of the reasons the Equinox has a longer front overhang and a more cab-forward proportion.


    Some designs/technology from the Theta were used on the GV like the basic rear suspension design for example.

    The GV XL7's preplacement will be based on the Equinox's Theta platform.
    The Suzuki Concept X should give a hint of the XL7's Theta based replacement.


    PS: the Chevy Captiva(S3X) is also based on the Theta platform used by the Chevy Equinox, saturn Vue and Pontiac *******.

    Hindi kaya under power??? kasi may ford escape kami na 2.0L under power eh.

    Meron ba sa inyo naka Grand Vitara na 2006 dyan? mahirap na ma talaga pag under power.

    No offense to Escape owners pero hirap talaga yun 2.0L nila sa escape.
