Hi guyz!
I'm curious about the Grand Vitara 2006...I like the exterior.
Hmmm...
Question, can the stereo be changed to any 2DIN unit?
Ok lng if steering controls don't work...
I'm not really attracted to the stereo unit.
Ka platform ng Chevy S3X concept SUV(Theta platform).Ilalabas yan dito next year i guess.
how the performance of the new vitara? any word about suzuki's aftersales service?
ok performance ng GV... no complaintsdon't know aftersales service, pero mukhang ok naman sa Suzuki P. Tamo kasi bago pa hehehe!!
In search of a 2.0L CUV A/T, I saw the Grand Vitara yesterday. Man it looks great! Much better than the Nissan X-Trail and the Hyundai equivalent.
Is anyone using this? I need to ask how's the quality, reliability, mileage, service center experience.
Thanks in advance.

Suzuki has taken the wraps off the next Japanese market Escudo SUV and gives us a preview of the 2006 Grand Vitara at the same time. There’s no mistaking the resemblance to the Suzuki Concept X2 that debuted at the NY auto show and the GM DNA from the Equinox/VUE. The Suzuki will use their own 4x4 system and 181 horsepower V-6 instead of dipping into GM’s bins. While the look is anything but revolutionary, Suzuki will finally bring their SUV line into the 21st century.
Ganda nung bagong Vitara! Saw one today and it looks much nicer than the previous one. Looks better than any of the other small SUV's currently in the market (RAV4, CRV, X-trail, Tucson, Outlander). Napansin ko lang na kapareho nung likod nya yung Chevy Equinox. Anyone know if they share a platform or something?
I believe you're referring to the Grand Vitara?Originally Posted by ramibel
I don't think so. Suzuki has its own platform. The fact that GM has some shareholdings in and collaborative efforts with Suzuki on some projects, I don't think the new Grand Vitara is one of them.
Yes, I find the new GV the best looking compact SUV in the market today and wouldn't mind going for one if my car plan ran out already on my current CRV.
