is suzuki going away from its 4x4 heritage? mukha ngang rav4 :sigh:
Onga noh? The rear tire cover is similar to the rav4Originally Posted by caloyski5

Looks more like a concept car, doesn't it? Especially with that 2-toned roof... :whoa: You think they're really gonna launch it commercially?
How ironic... the old Chevy Equinox was a re-badged Vitara... now the new Vitara is a re-badged new Equinox.
Really?! I don't see them as exactly the same design?! REBADGING is definitely not the same as using the same PLATFORM. That would just make a Toyota Fortuner as a REBADGED Toyota INNOVA, which is absolutely incorrect. REGADGING IS EXACTLY the same body and design(probably a few minimal changes) then just putting a different name on it.Originally Posted by niky
The THETA platform, which is used in EQUINOX, has been shared with many other General Motor SUVs (Saturn Vue and PONTIAC *******).
Equinox is not old. Its a 2005 model...

from some german zine, apparently a spy shot of the grand vitara (which looks more road-ready than the X2 concept, but they are very similar)
It's like a cross between the old boxy Sidekick and the current Grand Vitara. If you add in the black roof rails, you'll see hints of the old Sidekick.Originally Posted by sikuya

parang rav4.
old school vitara pa rin. hehehe.. that's for me(and i know that the philippine market-heck! even my parents want flashy vehicles and doesn't even look at the spec sheet)
Oo nga. It's practically screaming, "Hey! I'm a RAV4 lookalike because our designers and engineers couldn't think of anything else!"Originally Posted by tebs
Ang bigat tignan, much like the current generation RAV4. The old-school Vitara had more sensible aesthetics. Tsaka bakit parang car-based na yung interior niya? Bleh...
