    Nice shots...

Hmmm, the new model has a smaller approach angle right? How does it fair compared to the big boys?

Have had the opportunity to go on trails with a Jimny - at Sapang Bato, Pinatubo, Balayan, and even at Jungle Base. With the right tires, it's really a very capable vehicle -- very nimble and sprightly. Can get into tight areas where bigger rigs can't. It's so light that it just floats on lahar and mud. Only downside is it's low ground clearance. It easly gets high-centered. But with just the right amount of lift, it can out-perform bigger rigs.

I can't compare it with the old model I didn't have the chance to drive one on off road. I did dis align my front bumper while doing this:

This is why I'm now thinking to avail of more lift and Mud tires. I wish I had those on this event. Sayang!

I already sold my Montero's. Jimny is on OME shocks and springs and stock tires only.

    Sir Larshell,

If you want to replace your OME shocks and coils for a higher lift, I'm willing to buy it

Jimny's are so fun. The one we have here is still the older model with a stick shift 4wd. Hoping to bring it to the farm soon.

    It's like a 4wd sports car. :D

    No problem, sir Larshell.

I'm also looking for M/T tires. The problem with M/T tires is that they are available only in big sizes, relatively big for the jimny, that is.

But I discovered a good tire brand which offers a small M/T tire size (205/70R15), which is the same as stock.

    It's Maxxis M8060 Trepador.

    Ganda ng tread noh?

I just don't know if there are local distributors here.

Sir, pag may nabalitaan ka tungkol sa tires na ito, inform mo rin ako.

Drave, I have been looking M/T tires since I got my Jimny. Walang available na M/T tires of Maxxis, Hankook and Kumho locally. AFAIK Those brands are the cheapest. BF goodrich M/T lang nakita ko available sa local market and its by order basis. Size available 215/75/R15

Have you checked out the local Kargador series? Don't know what brand it is but they do have very agressive treads. I believe they come in small sizes because I've seen some Suzuki multi-cabs shod with such tires.

Ganun ba? In that case you would need extra set of rims pala. Pero I'm sure even if 14" lang yan, the over-all height would be the same kasi high side walls yung kargador.
