Whirring sound when slowing down

I noticed a soft whirring sound whenever I need to slow down. When I step on the brakes, as my car slows down it goes wooh wooh wooh wooh. . Just had 7k on my odo. What could be the cause of this? Is this a brake problem or the wheel bearings? it sounds like a small gardening cart being pushed. It was soft before but maybe because I know about it, it sounds a bit louder now, only audible when I have my stereo and ac off. Thanks.

try adjusting your tire pressures to specs and rotate them. it might be your tires have imperfections.
