September 3rd, 2010 09:51 PM #1Hey all.
Was just wondering if anyone would know a good place to have the wheels on our van balanced and aligned in the San Juan/Shaw Blvd area.
Malapit lang samin kasi yung goodyear, which was formerly rapide. Andami pa namang horror stories doon.
Not looking for any repair though - is goodyear ok? If there's a better place nearby, I'd appreciate it if anyone could suggest.
Thanks!

I used to have my Revo serviced sa Payless sa Libis (tapat ng Shopwise). But recently, sobrang haba na pila, so I settle for Servitek. I don't have a good experience with Petron CCC in Ortigas.
Dami threads about alignment. Search ka lang sir. Maraming valuable info na na-share na previously.

There's a servitek along shaw yata. Any feedback with them?
How much would be a decent price for just wheel alignment? How about kapag may kasamang balancing?
Thanks.

I think you're referring to the one in Kapitolyo. East Capitol Drive if I'm not mistaken
That should be a good place. Haven't tried wheel alignment with them yet though, as I brought my car there for puncture repair and to pump nitrogen into my tires.
Generally speaking, Servitek does a competent job of wheel alignment and balancing. The one I visit is in Bicutan, and they've been aligning my wheels for about 6 years.

September 4th, 2010 03:26 PM #6Had our car quoted first at the wheel stores along JP Rizal - 300 for wheel alignment.
Also checked out Bridgestone Fort - 1200+ daw yung wheel alignment.
Aside from the 'brand image' associated with bridgestone fort, what would be the main pluses/differences in having alignment done here?

Speaking of alignment.
Marami akong tanong:
-Kapag computerized it means pagka align using the balancer na connected sa computer eh ok na at pantay na dapat ang takbo? Ganito ba dapat?
-Lahat kasi ng pa-align ko sa Yokohama computerized yung camber and wheel alignment pero after gawin yun tetest drive nila tapos laging may kabig aadjust manually yung sa ilalim ng sasakyan di na nakakasa sa computer. Pagtest drive at may kabig adjust nanaman manually. Ganito ba talaga iccomputerized tapos pag test drive at may kabig aadjust na lang manually hanggang sa pumantay?
- Di ba dapat pagka-align using computer good to go kana at wala ng manual adjustment?

Hehe. Didn't know kasi na recommended pala ito every 5K kms check up mo and kaya hindi ko na ito napapagawa. How about speedlab? Gumagawa kaya sila dito? Papost naman po ng mga prices sa mga nakaexperience na dito sa shop na to. TIA!
