Will it take too long to change wheel bearings? may appointment kasi ako sa isang talyer pero di pa siya tumatawag e 2 weeks na, papalitan nya lahat ng bushings pati mga rubber dumper at wheel bearings., nakakatakot kasi habang nagdridrive ako e umuugong ung front tires. uunahin ko na sanang palitan ung mga bearings habang di pa sya tumatawag

kaya nga eh sir. nakakabwisit. estimate cost nya for replacing all the bushings and wheel bearings is almost 10k.

Just for reference, big suspension bushing costs 350 while small ones 200. Plus around 150 for press.

Yung wheel bearings depende yan sa model pero usually mura lang kung bearing lang talaga.

at my place e tipong P50 lang yung pagpress ng kahit anong bushing o balljoint.............ako kasi operator lalu na kung busy lahat nung mga tripolante ng machine shop.

P10k? tapos wala pang mga balljoints? mejo mahal.

napalitan ko na po 2 wheel bearings ko. From Timken to NSK brand. ung pagroll po ba ng gulong kapag icheck mo ang play e maraming beses iikot ang tire? hindi pa kasi aabot sa half turn pag pinaikot ko eh.

the common method to check wheel bearings (w/o) removing the wheels is to grip the tire at 12 & 6 o'clock positions. pero kung minsan kapag loose ang mga bushings ng control arm e pwede maapektuhan ang "testing" procedure. kung may play e loose ang bearings, etc....yung 3 & 9 o'clock naman ay para macheck ang steering components.

yes...

nung isang linggo lang naranasan nung pinsan ko yung "wheel off" scenario. tanggal ang gulong kasama ang axle from the differential housing. haven't seen yet the damage pero i suspect it is related to the bearing and retainer.

most wheel bearings are of certain commercial size.
the auto stores should know them, sir.
ask first if they have the proper size, before you allow them to tear into your car.
japanese, american, european.
iba-ibang presyo, po.
i haven't had to deal with bearings in a long time. hindi kuna alam presyo.
ask the store for the range of prices. then ask for labor charges.

Don't automatically assume it's the wheel bearings. Minsan yung gulong mismo yung cause ng ugong.
