Sa bearings, my take, wag ka kukuha ng surplus. Not worth it sa abala kapag bumigay ulit

Sana meron mag reply pero ang pagpalit ng wheel bearing sa Vios lalo na sa harap ay kailangan ba pares or kung ano lang yung maugong kase yung sakin sa kanan lang na driver side ang kelangan na palitan?

A worn out wheel bearing manifests at any speed. Humming sound might be caused by the tires.

Sorry for the confusion. The humming sound i mentioned is noticeable at low speeds as well.

    More prominent when above 60kph.

Need your opinion brothers. My car is nissan sentra 2007 gx model. I have to replace my break pads to original kasi yung bendix na gamit ko hindi maganda for my tires. Then my wheels need bearing replacement I got this quote from a mechanic that works for nissan. All original parts daw toh. Ask ko lng kung tama lng ba yung price. Note lng i hhome service niya yung repair

"sir gd eve ung wheelbearing sa harap 2,742 po ang isa *2 , ung breakpads po 3,748,ung caliperpin with bushing 839 po ang isa *4 ung wheelbearing assembly 7,185 ang labor ko po 2,500 ang total po lhat 22,273"

Sir it's best po na kayo mag leg work regarding sa prices nang oem parts. May makukunan din naman kayo sa labas nang parts po. Tawag lang kayo sa mga shops in banawe or manila for pricing. Labor po is just ok

Call up Youngbros (Banawe) and Nisway (Ligaya Dr. near Marcos Highway) for quotes. For replacement bearings, go for NSK or Koyo brands.

I don't understand why the Bendix pads are "hindi maganda for your tires".

The hybrids from bendix are cheap and quiet. Stopping power isnt as good as oe though.

you might consider getting your bearings ex-casa, sir. you can save at least 50 %..
and i have had my brake pads replaced by off-the-shelf replacements from banawe.. no difference naman sa performance.

makiki ride as I suspect wheel bearing issues, correct me if I am wrong and hoping for your help.

Yung naririnig ko na sound is parang mga barya/maliliit na bakal na inaalog. parang kalansing, parang tambourine sound in a way. lagi ko syang naririnig kapag nasa parking ako. Might be ung speed tska ung liko ng liko. Hindi sya growling/humming sound, and erratic sya pag high speed/city cruising/stop and go. madalas wala at those speeds. Nanggagaling din sa rear as far as I can tell.

altis AT 2007 1.6G. Any ideas sirs?

I couldn't have been more wrong with my initial diagnosis. Lumakas ng lumakas ung tunog and it became apparent that upod na ang brake pads ko at hindi wheel bearing issue (i think dahil sa echo sa parking kaya iba ung tunog) LOL. So I had it replaced sa speedyfix with Bendix pads. That feeling when you solve an issue, ayos!

Will it take too long to change wheel bearings? may appointment kasi ako sa isang talyer pero di pa siya tumatawag e 2 weeks na, papalitan nya lahat ng bushings pati mga rubber dumper at wheel bearings., nakakatakot kasi habang nagdridrive ako e umuugong ung front tires. uunahin ko na sanang palitan ung mga bearings habang di pa sya tumatawag
