Ok ba Goodyear Wrangler tires?

i'm planning to change my Pirelli Scorpion AT to Goodyear Wrangler AT/R. anong feedback nyo sa wrangler?

Maganda naman ang GoodYear brand, magsasawa ka na sa design makapal pa yung tread. Ok din ang ratings nya based on some car mag reviews. Sidewall plys are normal nothing too fancy about it.

Downside is the price for quality.

mahal nga goodyear. these tires cost about 9k each and competition goes for 2 - 4k less.

9K ba ang Wrangler?!?!?! hindi ko pa kasi na ask ang price. baka 285 ang ipalit kong tires. pero kung 9K nga talaga, baka hindi nalang.

mas malambot kaya ang goodyear kesa pirelli? ang tagtag kasi ng pirelli sa patrol.

Kung babaratin sayo ng trade-in yung tire at kung hindi abala or hassle sayo baka pwede bilhin ko na sayo yung isa para sa reserba ko. 245 lang kasi reserba ko kaya me dala ko lagi compressor.
sakin naman ok lang ako sa Pirelli ko(same size with you). wag lang siguro ko makakasakay sa mas may magandang ride.

based on my personal experience, ala akong problem sa wranglers ko.

im using 32" mt/rs sa patrol safari ko using 15 x 10 rims. Yung rating nya sa tread wear ay lowest (3 stars), bawi lang sa traction na (5 stars) by good year na mismo kasi mt/rs nga pero i think better and tread wear pag at/rs.. city driving lang ako madalas with trailing on the side.. hehe.. sabi pa sa side wall na puncture resistant daw, pero ayoko na ding subukan.. hehe =)

almost 1 1/2 years na din pero kapal pa din naman ng tread so sulit na din.

sobrang timing lang nung nabili ko kasi nakuha ko cia ng P5,200 per pc kasi sale nun sa good year - servitek.. if i remember it right mga 7+k orig price nya, tpos balita ko kay alfred na kakatanung lang sa servitek ay 9+k na daw per pc, tpos 33"s daw 11k na.. kaya laki din ng savings ko for 5 tires.

i would recommend good years kasi parang ok tlga sa temperature and road condition natin..

they didn't have one this year..

yep try to BFG A/T KO, 285's usually priced at 9k+ or maybe cheaper there. also want to take a look at this tire, seen one here installed on a patrol.

almost 2 yrs na yung pirellis ko, and at least 2 tires e na-vulcanized na (napako). hindi ako sure sa wear ng tread, siguro less than 50% nalang.



saan ba meron BFG na tires? diba parang ang hirap makahanap nito?

sa roadstar sa makati merong bfgoodrich. 6500 ang 275/70r16. not that expensive. very chunky looking tire. looks good imho

wala daw available na 285 na wrangler AT. MT lang meron pero 18K each!
