All looks like miniaturized tractor tires but what does the nomenclature means and also their applications...seen in several street driven pick-ups.

    Pro and cons of use?

    TIA.

Well... I know for sure that you can't use mud tires every day... waste of money... you'll wear down the treads too quickly.

ATRs? Alam ko ATs... all-terrain... can be used on-road... but pure mud tires are only marginal for road use, tread too aggressive.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The letters are just a way for each tire maker to distinguish from mud terrain tires to all-terrain tires. ATR is used by Pirelli for their all-terrain tire, STT is the Cooper brand mud terrain tire. The one that looklike tractor tires are most likely mud terrain tires but there are some all terrain tires that have agressive thread patterns such as BF Goodrich, Toyo, and Cooper to name a few.

Whats the difference between mud tires from ATRs, STTs, and similar acronyms?
