Weak brakes with aircon on

Mga Sir,


May problema lang po ako sa brakes. Kapag naka off ang aircon ay malakas naman ang brakes ng car ko... pero kapag naka-on na ang aircon ay mahina na ito.. kailangan ko pa na idiin ng todo ang brake pedal para kumagat ng husto.. ano po kaya solution dito?

Sounds like a vacuum problem. Check all those small rubber hoses in the engine bay for rips, tears or cracks, and make sure the connections are tight.

ang problima mo ay mababa ang idling niya kaya kapag nakaon ang air con kaya humihina ang brakes mo kasi humihina ang vacuum kaya ang mangyayari ay titigas ang brake * hihina..so ang kailanagan gawin ay adjust ng idling ng aircon..anu po ba brand ng car mo...check mo yun private msg mo baka matulungan kita sa problima mo..

the highest manifold vacuum is at idling because the throttle plate is closed. increasing the idling will lower the vacuum since you'll open the plate or increase the bypass air through the iac. check the vacuum hose from the brake booster to the manifold (maybe cracked or loose), also check the oneway valve attached to the booster. some car ac systems uses vacuum to operate the ac doors; check the vacuum tank for leaks (if yours have one)
