Guys, what are your tire pressures? I know there is a similar thread on this so I just want to get a survey and some opinions. My tires are BF Goodrich T/A 235/70R15. Current pressure is 27psi. So far ok ang ride pero someone adviced me on raising it up to 30psi cold. My exprience with that pressure setting before is that sobrang harsh ang ride ng Vit ko. Need your input guys.

Btw, I'll be installing a Safari snorkel this saturday. May old stock kasi sa shop ng cousin ko sa bacolod and he is selling it to me at a good price na installment basis pa. I'll be having it installed at RATS lang. P1000 labor charge daw nila.

If you want your tires to last stay with the 30 psi the safari is a very heavy vehicle and its weight will cause quicker tire wear on low tire pressures, remember a vitara weights far lighter than a patrol! :D I dont know if your tires are steel belted but if they are low tire pressures will cause severe mid term damage to your tires carcass, mmagkakaroon ng lumps and can blow up while you are running! Not a very safe situation 8O

since tire pressure na topic... makisingit na rin ako... ano ba dapat ang tire pressure ng 31x10.5 15 Radial All Terain BFGoodrich uses in a 3 door Pajero Mini, currently 28front tapos 27 likod ok lang ba yun? gamit ko is yung sa shell na digital air pressure.

I read in another 4x4 forum they used 25 front and 20 rear for a gen 1 paj 3dr on MT tires 31x10.5. This was his everyday setting including highway use. This was after testing dif pressures ranging from 10 to 35. He used a lower setting though pag nag off-road.

    Not sure about AT's though.

AFAIK, 28 ata minimum pressure. Anything below is considered underinflated.

Thanks for the reply guys. Sige, I'll raise my pressure back to 30psi on all fours then observe again.

Ungas: Sa RIDE nalang ako papakabit on Saturday afternoon. P500 lang ang installation charge nila compared sa P1000 ng RATS. Yup, ako lang mag-isa. Sama ka?

    boybi,
usually when towing mas mataas ang pressure nung sa likod. Sa pajero 40psi yung rear kapag may trailer.

    wiretap_md,
    ano papakabit mo sa fender?
