December 10th, 2008 03:09 PM #1Hi Guys, need your advice here.
My car is experiencing some weird sounds during braking. A "TOK" sound comes up during stop and go driving, this happens when i press the brake lightly. This does not happen at high speed braking or when i fully press the brakes
Im driving an automatic by the way
Hope to hear your advice!

Sa harap ung tunog Driver Side
It also makes sounds when i release the brake (minsan lang)
Sometimes may screetch sound din when braking coming from tha back (kung kakabukas lang ng kotse and it disappears after a few brakes)
If its brake calyper, minor lang ba un?

December 17th, 2008 10:06 PM #6I recently discovered another "TOK" sound.
This happens when i step on the brake pedal and turn the steering wheel to the left it produces a single "tok sound" after that wala ng tunog maskin ikutin ko to the left while pressing on the brake. It only reproduces the sound when i let go and press the brake pedal again and do the same procedure.
Ano kaya problem nito?

if its a single tok, i dont know
but if its tok tok tok tick tick tick with pedal pulsations, then its the ABS. maybe you have a dirty wheel speed sensor. kaya nag aactivate ang abs,
alas, much as we might want to rely on our noses, we may not use our noses to do emissions...
