guys, i have read a lot of things about tires here in tsikot as well as with other forums. i only have one question with regard to tire changing. my stock tire is 185/80r14, correct me if i'm wrong, the first # corresponds to the tire width right? if that is the case then my rims are also 185? in that case, do i need to stick to the 185's if i plan to stick to my stock mags? btw, i'm using an '02 mitsu adv 22 model.

you can get wider tires if you want more grip but more grip will also mean slightly higher fuel consumption.

guys just got another question. i got this tire spec which says 27"x8.5"x14" for the Bridgestone Dueler AT. now how do i convert this into mm? kasi whenever i compute for it, parang ang laki ng digits na lumalabas. eto computation ko: 27in x 685.8mm then 8.5in x 215.9 with 14in radius. tama po computation ko? ang alam ko kasi walang size na 685.8x215.9x14... kindly correct my computation please... sorry, ignorant talaga ako sa tires since this is my first vehicle kaya wala talaga ako masyado alam.

27" is the overall diameter of the tire
8.5" is the width of the tire
14" is the rim diameter
27"x8.5"x14" is roughly equivalent to 215/75R14Signature
