Mga peeps, tanong ko lang po: ano ang tamang tire pressure for my Civic 1997? Yokohama s306 ang gulong ko, 15 inches diameter. Susundin ko po ba ang nakasulat sa pintuan ko sa driver's side regardless of whatever tire I use? O yung nakasulat sa sidewall? Maraming salamat po.

You could follow what is posted on your vehicle's door jamb. If it suits your comfort and as long as you are still using the same tire spec.

Pwede naman ibaba ang hangin ng gulong to as much as 26psi per tire, but running on lower tire pressure will increase your fuel consumption. I also read somewhere that altitude has got something to do with tire pressures too, if you frequent high altitudes, deduct 6psi from your target running pressure. And may I add that tires do increase pressure when it gets hot or being used after some rounds. An added 2-4psi when the air inside gets hot.

during long trips nag start ako sa 28 psi, then pagdating sa destination, say Baguio nasa 32 psi na. sa city, 30 psi is just fine for me.

30-32 seems fine for 15" tires, normal city driving conditions

I always cold inflate my tires 2psi above the recommended pressure so that I don't have to go back to the gas station as often.

Another thing I read was that filling your tires with nitrogen will make it run better as it takes a higher pressure to make it expand, it makes your tire last longer and some other benefits I don't remember.

Bridgestone sa Fort will be offering this service soon.

I'm running 28-35 psi (depends on many variables).

The sticker on my doorjamb says 50 psi. Whatta stupid label.

    AFAIK,

Nitrogen is only good if you are running sustained high (very high) speeds. Parang spoiler din siya. Pretty useless for the daily grind.
