good fuel economy??? ahh, baka you mean merong so-called na "Anti-Rolling Resistance", para more economize driving?!?..oh basta yun na yun, hehe.

185/70 o 65 R14's size mo? tama ba? price nya siguro, estimate mga nasa P1800-2200/tire siguro, not sure!.. Expect mong mas mahal ng konti sa GT Radial. Gud Luck

what size ba? pang 15, 16, 17s anu? pang anung ride pati? pareho lang magaganda yan bro... but likely more to the ES100 ako. Kung 15's, (195/55), I think price starts at P3200 up to P4k/tire,.. mahal na, nagtaasan na kasi raw mats ng gulong.

    * scarab: I'd go w/ the Nankang tires (NS-II), I think it cost only P3900-4200/ tire, at that size! Great tread design too

...up ko na rin. nasabugan ako recently ng goma (215/45/R17). i use dunlop LM702s pero medyo budgeted ako ngayon. so let's trim down the brands:

    -hankook
    -gajah tunggal
    -federal
    -kumho
    -kelly
    -nankang

...ano pinaka ok sa mga naka-experience sa mga brands na ito? in terms of noise, ride comfort, at yung dependable (tumatagal). budget is 4k-4.5k (or even cheaper).

...i tried searching the other threads kaso na-kokompare sila lagi sa mga mas sikat at mahal na goma. TIA!

I experienced it all in Hankook, noice level (tolerable and depends on alot of factors), ride comfort (you wont get much, dahil low profile. Except naka Continental ka, pero may kamahalan) at matibay naman (normal driving habit). Actually, Hankook is included in the top ten world ranking overtaking Yokohama na and Toyo.

hi. could you guys give me a tip on buying a good set of tires for my hilux E?

standdard is 205/70/15. i think this is too small for the truck. i want to change it to a bigger tire. using stock rims. no suspension lifts.

i occasionally go provincial trips. so i dont want the new set to be worn out too quickly. and yet i want it to be smooth.

and also the budget. not too expensive.

so is there a specific tire that fits my descriptions?

Just got the Yokohama S.drive for my spare set of mags. For daily use, i'm using the C.drive. The C.drive's qualities are good as advertised. Quiet with a little bit of performance. It also helps that they are not directional which means you can do a full rotation of all four tires. The S.drive and the C.drive are more or less the same price at least for 195/55/R15 size.

The S.drive is the replacement for the ES100. Haven't tried them yet as one of the mags was oblique which i only found out when i was having them balanced. Had to have it machined before balancing it again.

um, contribute lang ako, i bought a pair of GT Chamipro S' recently, quite cheap at that -- under 1.5k B) meron lang nga mga "whiskers" on the wheel, and mga excess goma here and there. can't really give any relevant feedback as to performance, since i don't drive that often or that far, nor am i super sensitive to road noise and such(uh, why am i posting again? B)

i think i know why they were so cheap. nasabugan ako ng gulong last weekend while parked outside a mall. i don't think we hit anything sharp, nor was it slashed; the hole cracked along the crevices of the tread, and i noticed some cracks near the hole.

will try to post pics later; duda ko old stock ung binigay sa akin. 2yr+ pa lang yun.

buti kamo pinaantay ko ung parents ko sa mall entrance, kung hindi tatlo kaming nalitson sa open parking while replacing the tire B)

punta ako ng evangelista this week; two way ba ung evangelista? planning to enter and exit via EDSA southbound lane.

are the bridgestone potenza g3's still in the market?
