You can check out Iron Man. It's an Aussie brand and its priced cheaper than the Bilsteins and Old Man Emu shocks. We're using this in our LC80 for almost two years now and its still running strong. If you're looking for KYB, they should have for the LC80 as well. Best bet is to go to Banawe (try shops like NGK and Toyorama).

pwedeng malaman kung talaga bang mas maigsi o shorter yung KYB shocks for corolla big body than the original...kasi nung magpalit ako....sumasayad na yung mudguard sa humps...dati hindi naman....aside from KYB shock..anong brand pa meron kahit mas mahal ng konti saka yung coil spring....salamat

hi mga bossing, naghahanap ako ng front shocks na mas mura kesa sa casa. nirecommend sakin ng isang shop, replacement na lang daw. brand new and made in japan daw yun. may ganun ba? any advice or suggestions? thanks!

Kung parehas lang ng dati ang ground clearance, malamang na mas malambot yung KYB kaysa dati na nakakabit.
Gas ba o fluid type ang ikinabit mo? O kaya wala na ung shock bumper stop, kanya umaabot na sa mudguard yung gulong.

Front Suspension: Independent w/ Telescopic shocks
Rear Suspension: Semi elliptic leaf spring w/ two-way telescopic shocks

I've been planning to replace it with softer shock absorbers for comfort. Any suggestion po sa mga shock absorber replacement na gagamitin. Baka meron po kayo alam na shop na pwede puntahan. thanks ^_^

I'm new here... Mag tanong lang po sana ko kasi hindi din po ako pamilyar sa mga parts ng kotse ko.
Sabi kasi sa akin sa casa may tagas na daw yung shock absorber ko sa right side sa likod at dapat na din daw palitan yung engine support. Nung sinabi price sa akin medyo namahalan ako.

Dapat po ba lahat na palitan ko or pwede kahit yung pair muna sa likod?
Yung mga brand po ba na nasabi dito sa thread walang mga class a or fake nun? Baka po kasi maloko ako pag ako lang bumili mag isa.

I'm looking for surplus shock absorbers (front and rear) for my 97 Polo Classic. Baka may alam kayong place where I could buy them and have them install the shocks as well. Also, I was told na pwede ang Mitsubishi itlog (not sure exactly what model "itlog" pertains to) rear shocks as replacement for the Polo classic, or even the Honda Civic iDSI. Baka may alam din kayong nabibilihan at nag-i-install ng mga shocks na ganito. Thanks.

If you can find KYB Gas-A-Justs that fit the FB, that should be good. Mga 1K+ per piece siguro.

^Yup. The gas-a-justs are primarily for AUVs, SUVs, CUVs. Never tried Monroe yet...

5years na monroe hindi pa sira.

KYB namin parang 2 years lang nag start na mag leak sa L300 delivery van namin, now Monroe na gamit namin isa. yung isa KYB, nag leak na, hindi palang naipapalitan. yung isa OEM pa.


given the chance na papalitan, most likely i'll get monroe again.

puro front shocks yan. bihira kami magpalit ng rear shocks. ewan ko bakit parang hindi nagl-leak rear namin hehe
