hahaha.beri panny dat wan. the objective of washing the machined surface with soap and water is not for sanitation. it is for removal of unwanted powdery metal from machining. if you resurface the rotors, or deglaze the engine block cylinder, or lap the valves (grind valves as many people call it), you have to remove the unwanted remnants of the machining process. in your case, the cast iron dust if not removed, will cling to the brake pads and cause the brake squeal because of the sliding cast iron brake rotor and the cast iron dust coated brake pads making friction.Last edited by jick.cejoco; March 29th, 2012 at 04:14 PM.

Usually ang ginagawa nila dyan is buffing then re-lubrication.
In my own experience only.. Thanks..

I have the same squeaking problem and would like to know if anyone has tried the silicone solution to silence the brake e.g. Disc Brake Quiet.
Please see How to Fix Squeaky Brakes: DIY Auto - Popular Mechanics
Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
