    help mga sir

been dealing with this problem for awhile now. eto yun mga nacheck ko and nagawa

caliper pin - pinalitan ko bago. nawawala then bumabalik ulit

had the same problem with my vios while using bendix general ct. lilinisin yung pad, mawawala ang sound pero babalik after 1 week. 1side lang din anh tunog.

ang ginawa ko, pinalitan ko bagong brake pad. bendix genetal ct pa din pero yung may canal sa gitna. yung screaching noise is caused by dust na nabubuo in between pads and rotors. change it sa may canal para may napupuntahan yung dusy at di naiipit sa rotors

i am using din bendix general ct, but on slotted/drilled rotors. i am not a racer, pero yun na rin kinuha ko for the benefit nga na it will sort of clean your pads as you break. though it will lead also to a bit shorter pad life coz of the slots... minimal issue lang naman as the general ct's are relatively cheap - P680 to P750 a pair lang. as the ts said screeching/grinding sound... most probably brake dust nga ito. you can try and follow sirkosero's advice above.

your brake rotors might be glazed and it causes groaning, grinding or screeching. try having your rotors deglazed or resurfaced. if you have them resurfaced, make sure you wash them with warm soapy water before reinstalling to the car. if the pads still has a lot more life left to it, wet sand it down to remove the glaze that might have transferred to the pads. why only one side you may ask? maybe the other side is not usually parked beside a building. the other side might remain dry most of the time whereas the other side might have been more exposed to the elements of weather
