nope, the bonding technology here is still gazillions away from the bonding technology in the u.s. or europe.
its better to buy oem or reputable aftermarket parts.
mayroon pong tendency na matanggal sa pagkabond ang asbestos especially pagnabasa sa baha. get oem or a better aftermarket brand.
Bawal na ito sa mga bagong parts. Very dangerous sa health. Gumagamit pa ba ang rebonders nito? Tsk tsk tsk...ang asbestos

yes!! gastos talga ang kotse
e36,
heard good things about ebc (less brake dust on wheels). use green stuff for everyday driving (red and black are more for circuit use; they have to heat up before they grip well). haven't really tried this yet and am satisfied with OEM from prestige. do not know if the brake sensors will work for ebc though.
my rule of thumb ... do not scrimp on suspension and brake parts.
Ferdi
Amen!my rule of thumb ... do not scrimp on suspension and brake parts
e36,
Kung para sa BMW mo dont even think about it.
Try buying EBC or Mintex less dust.

when i bought my car, i was told that all the brake pads were all new. na-verify ko lang na rebonded na lang pala nung muntik na akong bumangga dahil natanggal yung bonding. naghiwalay yung metal at yung pad mismo!
buti na lang, hindi ako magugulatin, of course ginamitan ko ng hand brake. Gamit ko ngayon yung original japan na.
I'm not against rebonding of brake pads, dahil ito rin naman yung ginagawa sa mismong paggawaan. I'm concern with the way/manner the tao does the bonding. imo, ito ang mga dapat ma-satisfy during brake bonding para sigurado quality:
1. ma-grind yung brake pad metal until kita totally yung silver color ng metal.
2. may 3 to 4 holes dun sa pad metal, dapat ma-grind yung pad (mismong brake pad) by 2 to 3 mm and fit with the holes.
3. yung gamit na adhesive sa bonding, dapat identified at capable sa high temp.
4. i'm not sure what specific temp the bonding should be subjected to, pero dapat high enough for the adhesive to cure.
5. hindi minadali.
sa tingin ninyo magkano EBC greens? sabi ng iba mdyo mahal
daw ito...pero ayus nman daw ang braking performance..
