    Thanks!!

Kakabili ko lang ng Yokohama A drive. 195/60R15 3100 pesos isa. Sa canvass ko mas mahal ang Good Year, Michellin and Bridgestone.

Lifetime depends sa tire itself, your suspension and the way you drive. If your car is misaligned or needs camber correction or have damaged suspension parts, your tires will wear out quickly. For the tire, look for one with a high, over 200, tread wear rating.

195/60 is bigger than 195/55 so your tire will be taller. This should give you a more comfortable ride. You can try the Yoko C drive it built for comfort. Dont know how much.

Use the 60 or 65 ratio instead of your 55 for softer ride. I think Maxxis tires are relatively cheap and comparable to Bridgestones. Also, a tire's lifespan is not measured on the distance traveled. It's lifetime is determined by:

    1. how well you maintain proper tire inflation for different driving conditions. over-inflation or under inflated tires are both harmful not to mention dangerous.
    2. the soundness of your suspension components and brake system.
    3. wheel alignment and balancing.
    4. the roads you drive on; paved, rough..
    5. the way you drive; sudden hard brakings or accelerations, potholes, curbs.
    6. small vulcanizing shops. excessive heat may damage the tire's steel belt plies.

If you seldom drive at sustained high-speed, don't buy the more expensive high-speed rated tires. Beware of cheap second-hand tires being offered for they may have already been regrooved!

I think the minimum tire tread depth is about 2/32". Also, too much uneven tire wear pattern is due for replacement which in turn is due for an alignment. During the dry season, one can delay tire replacements, though they may be susceptible to punctures from sharp objects. By contrast, on wet roads, a "bald" tire can cause slipping or worse hydroplaning.

Select a tire size that would match your rim's width. Improper size relative to width is not good to look at and also dangerous.
