Rust in disc brakes

sir when is this pic taken? weekend or weekdays? kasi if this pic is taken and ilang araw di nagamit ang car nung pagkuha ng pic eh this is normal .. in our case nga minsan hourse lang nagrurust na .. dont worry its normal ;;

It's superficial rust, nothing to worry about. The pads will grab them and work the rust away when using the car, but when parked there's nothing to scrape them off so they reveal themselves.

Buti na lang normal lang yung rust na ganun sa disc brakes. Mine has also pero konti lang.

light rust on the disc brakes is okay, park your car overnight and there will already be light rust on the discs. what you have to watch out for is the flaky kind of rust, the ones that fall off in clumps or patches, because these usually eat through the metal of the discs.

normal yan kahit daily driven. mabilis magkaroon ng rust lalo na kung sa outside parking (walang garage like me...sigh).

sa amin rin ganun everytime nababasa yung pads kapag linilinis yung gulong. but after a few meters of driving, mawawala rin, or sa a/t na cars, just let it move a little without completely releasing the brake. but naisip ko lang dahan dahan pala kinakain yung bakal ng pads...

kaso ung mga hindi natatamaan ng disc break e meron pa din. pede bang kutkutin yun? like yung malapit sa center nung disc

Kita mo na, dito lang tsikot ang may genuis at marami pang susunod. Isang tanong lang dito solve na ang problema tungkol sa technical, mechanical and scientifical. That what tsikot is all about. :chopper:

Did you read the posts above? The rust will vanish as soon as you hit the brakes!

no! mawawala yan when you hit the brakes. madulas at mahirap tanggalin ang wd40... baka di na gaano kumapit ang brakes mo...
