    Sir and maam sa tsikot,

    I had my car wheel aligned and camber checked and adjusted 2 weeks ago,
    wala ng kabig or watsoever, totally okei na sya, pero kagabi ko lang napansin,
    parang mas mababa yung sa FRONT DRIVER side kesa passenger side, sinukat ko ng sa kamay ko,
    mas mababa yung sa driver side ng 1 to 1.5 finger/s (walang sakay),
    halata kasi sya pag tinignan mo head-on yung auto, kahit gnun lang ung difference.
    pinacheck ko kaninang umaga, ang sabi is yung shocks daw, nag bounce test sya both sides,
    and sabi nya matigas na yung side na mas mababa, hindi na daw nag play gano, medyo duda ako sa diagnosis,
    tinignan ko yung sa tambol, yung sa mas mababang side, MEDYO slant yung shocks compared dun sa kabila na diretso lang talaga.

    so ang tatanong ko;

    1. even thou napa align and nacamber ko na, in the long run ba, makakaapekto yung mababang side sa wear ng gulong? (bago kasi gulong, sayang naman) like for EXAMPLE, nag crucruise ako at medyo high speed 130-140kmh, BAKA kasi ang tendency, mas naprepress pababa yung mababang side kesa sa kabila, thus, more tire wear?

    2. may bahid ba kaya ng katotohanan yung sabi ng mekaniko na wala na gano play yung shocks sa mababang side kaya mas bagsak toh ng kaunti?

    3. urgent matter ba ito na kelangan ko aksyunan kaagad? baka kasi may masama pa maidudulot toh sa ibang part ng underchassis.

    additional info;
    *stock shocks lang and stock springs
    *since i got the car mid last year, hindi ko pa pinapapalitan ng shocks and springs.
    *corolla big body lang yung car.
    *im not overweight, nasa range pa naman ang BMI ko. hehe.

    needing your wise and expert opinion guys. TIA.

    From what I know. The ride height on the driver's side of the car is a tad bit lower compared to the other side.
    Even if you replace the shocks and springs on both sides of the car in front. In time the driver's side ride height would be lower.
    So that is normal

    from your write up, it looks like the upper strut mounts are "tired" and need to be replaced. you mentioned the steering axis inclination (from the strut mount to the ball joint imaginary line) are uneven and the ride height are uneven as well. the only thing that can attribute to both your mentioned symptoms are the strut mounts. the control arm bushings might be tired too but they will not cause the SAI to change dramatically.

    Salamat sa mga nagreply,

    So hindi pa naman super urgent?

    Magiipon pa sana ako para isang gawaan nalang ung pang ilalim at isahang align and camber nalang ulit.

    Salamat ulit mga sir.

    you need to put some weight on the passanger side of your car, If you're the only one in your car at all times, chances are the driver side springs will settle down faster due to YOUR weight. Grab some weights and put like 100lbs or more on the passanger side of your car.

    Springs usually need time to settle down to their given height! But when you have pressure on them they tend to settle faster, so when you're always sitting the drive side and you don't have a passenger with you all the time, the driver side will go lower first.

    Don't worry we all went through that stage and freaked out till someone explained it to us.

    your car's suspension had been designed with the weight of the driver in mind regardless whether you have passengers or not. the center of balance of the car was taken into consideration so the major heavy components of the car were shifted to one side. for example: toyota corolla, AE 101L compared to AE 101R, the country of destination dictates where the driver will be sitting. australian, japanese, english destinations require that the driver is on the right side of the car whereas the rest of the world, the driver is on the left side. regardless, what you can confirm is that whether the installed lenght of the front struts under load are the same or not, this will tell if your springs are sagging or "tired". if the installed length are the same, it will have to be the strut mount cracked, weathered, worn or torn.
