The tire will not blow up. Just imagine that the tire is several layers of rubber and other materials and due to the impact your tire got last night, a few upper layers came loose.

That loose layer is now holding your tire's air. Given it's location, you have a big chance of puncturing the rubber bubble and causing your tire to deflate (potentially a few seconds to minutes to flat). If you have a long trip, I strongly suggest having it replaced before that trip.

Why not just throw on your spare tire? So you can still use your car?

I don't suggest making "plantsa" to repair such a damage. The potential leak may not be directly under the "bukol".

sorry sir ghosthunter, i meant before na bumukol, kung napagawa ba sa tsipy shop... chances are nasisira ng init yung material at thread ng gulong, causing it to bulge under stress.

Dunlops are tumor-prone. Search around the threads.

Try S&R in Alabang. Nagpunta pa ako sa Banawe/Blumentrit nung kukuha ako ng goma.... mas mura pala sa S&R.

It's too risky to drive a car with tires in that condition. Better safe than sorry. Try Minerva Tire Gallery in Westgate, Alabang...tel# 8073673. I think they're close on Sundays. I just got it from one of the threads here. Yes, you can stick with the Dunlop brand. Besides the looks, they're reliable too. I also had Dunlop tires on our first car. Bridgestone, Yokohama and Michellin are better brands too. Just avoid goodyear tires, especially their Assurance brand. It has design issues. I bought a set of four in January this year. But, after a month use, I went back to the distributor in alabang and had them replaced due to some defect. One more thing, it was not that easy to have your defective tires replaced. I almost got into fight with Goodyear representative.

    Happy driving!

May BukoL yung Rear Tire ko,. Is this going to explode??
