I replaced my rear shocks just this year and after a few months the rear right shock is leaking. Had it replaced and a few months more again it started to leak. Shocks is KYB.

    What may have caused this?

Your rear springs are too soft. The strain from the excess play over bumps blows the shocks.

make sure the shock shaft bumper is installed and in good condition. most people tend to ignore the purpose of the shaft bumper .

    Thanks for the advices.

I measured the shock at the rear and the height is higher in a few cenitmeters compared to the left. The only repair done at the rear are replacement of leaf spring bushings.

    Have to check it out.
