kelan po ang palit or repack ng rear wheel bearing ng revo? hindi sya kasama sa 40K or 80K pms ng casa yata.. yung front lang ni-repack nila last 40K pms

If your drive it more on dry pavements, repacking it by 15,000-20,000 kms will help prolong its service life.

Flood crossings and near salt water areas need more frequent greasing tune-ups.

yaiiks... nasa 60T Km na yung odometer at hindi pa nabubukasan ang rear wheel..

any shops po na marunong gumawa? mukhang palit na rin ako ng bearing para sure na maganda at tahimik ang takbo..

At 60,000kms, expect those bearings to be tranish like metal burnt. Usually pag rear bearing sets ang papalitan kinakailangan press out old and press in new. At the same time, change of oil seal and gasket for the axle and housing.

Most gas station service bays do accept those kind of jobs.

nag inquire ako sa westwin sa pioneer center in pasig for my lancer, P600 ang isang wheel bearing (sa front) tapos labor daw ay P700 per side (left and right). kailangan din daw
i-press in/out ito which will cost P400 daw.
pwede na ba yung price nila?
mawawala ba ang alignment kapag ginalaw ang front wheel bearing?? kasi baka gimmickan ako na kailangan pa
i-camber/wheel alignment after replacing the wheel bearings.

nagtanong din ako sa casa... 1600 each rear bearing ng revo.. tapos mga 380 labor for each bearing.. yung press-in/out additional cost pa..

nung ni-replace/repack front wheel bearing ng revo ng dad ko... hindi naman nagbago yung alignment nung dinala ko sa servitek.. siguro depende sa gagawa at kung paano ang baklas nya..

Djerms::: Front bearings replacement labor is around 500-900 per side. Repacking is almost the same price. Rear bearings are much costlier (for rear wheel drive vehicles). Plus add the press in/out of parts depending on the machine shop charges, high speed/high temp axle grease, oil seals. Rear wheel driven doesn't need the front bearings to be pressed.

zero::: Nasa mga ganun din po ang price quotation ng gas station services. If you have done previous service from them, then that means you trust them with the job. Kalimitan po ang mali sa pag mount yung machine shop, pinupukpok ang bearings pag mount which is a big no-no. And the torque of the lock nut so as not to press the bearings too much. Too tight metal will build up heat and dry the grease in the process. Too loose, you might end up running after your tire.

At di po mababago ang camber, castor alignment & toe in/out ng front end kahit na repack lang ang gawin. The parts involved doesn't count much for steering and alignment properties.

Yep, di pare-pareho ang bearing applications, some are sealed while others are cone-cup types. There are also other vehicles that have cylindrical types.
