what's the proper orientation of installing progressive springs?

yung bang dikit dikit na portion ang nasa taas o nasa baba?

it doesn't really matter but for looks, the end where the coil are close to each other goes on top.

for over three decades working on asian, european and domestic cars, majority of the cars if not all have the closely spaced rungs of the coil springs are located towards the ground. usually, the springs do not fit perfect with their seat if not installed right
