Your hoses or pump might be blocked. Have them checked. How old is your car? I just changed all the hoses in the power steering system of my SUV and the hoses were all brittle causing a vibration with the wheel when I turned it while the car is stationary.

Not really the topic at hand but I just want to say that turning the steering wheel while the car is stationary puts a lot of stress on the steering linkages. It is best to turn the wheel while the car is in motion (even very slowly).

pero pag mga tight parallel parking, you need to fully turn the steering wheel with the vehicle stationary.

Correct, lalo na if the tyres are wide.

when using the conventional hydrolic power steering, tulong nadin sa power steering to last long is when your turning from a full stop, i step on the gas a little, para dagdag power nadin sa pump to pump more fluid from one part to the other.

just like oj88 posted, i do this also, kung maiiwasan mag full turn ng naka-hinto lang, do it, para kahit papano, tumagal ang buhay ng mga seals/pump/hose, kasi less stress from them when turning the wheel in motion, kahit sobrang bagal ng andar.

this is when using a hydrolic ps system, i dunno if a car equipped with EPS will have the same effect.
thou currently having a car with EPS, ganito padin practice ko, nakasanayan na.

EPS, HPS or no PS, it doesn't matter. When the car is standing still, turning the steering wheel will put undue force on the linkages (tie rods, rack ends, ball joints, etc.) It is ok to do this once in a while but only if necessary. You should never make a habit of it.

I've seen a Vios whose passenger-side tie rod popped out while parallel parking. I believe that that particular tire was in a pothole when the driver attempted to turn the wheel.

Remember, the power steering is strong enough to overcome the suspension geometry. Also know that the linkages are the weakest links. If you tug on the steering wheel with the car stationary, you'd think that it's light and all when in fact, the power steering system is doing the work for you.... like a power tool. You might be tricked into thinking that the mechanical linkages will be able to take the abuse.
