Pajero Subic Steering Problem..

Help! May steering problem pajero ko, there was "Tok" sound when i tried to manuever it, then tumigas na sya, hindi na sya makapag turn ng left or right. it all started when we changed the mag wheel with 16" mob rims, then they offer us free alignment and adjustment of steering dahil may play. then nagamit pa for 1 day yung pajero. the next day ayun na! tumunog na sya na parang may naputol or something. a mechanic checked the car and tried to fix it, and sabi nya possible na daw na power steering pump or gearbox. what do you think guys?

If any of you guys knows someone who specializes this particular problem please kindly post it here.

Any help from members who experienced the same problem will be appreciated. TIA!

please help. i tried to find and search for the same problem but most of the steering problem are just leak oil and "tok" sound problem. but mine is completely unusuable, i can only move the car forward and backward. my mechanic didn't show up today. and you know naman i cant bring the car to auto shop.

1)idler arm & center post baka may nabali? pwede din tie rod nalubak ka ba ng matindi dyan sir?

habol ko lang nakapag drive na ako ng pajero subic medyo mabigat din ang manibela pero ayus naman hindi ko lang alam kung anu yung nag B-BLINK sa dash board nya na apat na gulong minsan salitan minsan steady nu kaya yun?

thanks sa reply. according to my mechanic gearbox daw talaga yung sira. ask ko sya about idler amr & center post. yung sa tie rod naman im not sure din kasi wala naman ako nadadanan na malubak, city driving lang ako makati and pasay area lang. pinaka long drive na nya is yung from subic. mag 2 months palang sya samin, ngaun nagkasakit dahil ka cguro dun sa inadjust.

and as for the blinking in dashboard, baka yung indicator lang sya if naka 2/4 wheel drive ka? baka nagloloko lang cguro yung led? im not sure din kasi hndi ko rin nagagamit 4wd.

btw, na try pala namin ng nakalutang sya ayun lumambot na sya pero nung nkalapat na ulet matigas na.

ano sa tingin nyo?? gearbox kaya talaga sira?
