August 31st, 2013 01:11 PM #1Had my 195t kms PMS last week on my Innova Diesel 2006 model sa casa... medyo dumadami na ang list ng mga pina papalitan...
I'm thinking pag aralan ko muna (like what parts are for what purpose.. visually inspect kung talagang may issue na etc)... then another side is makapag canvass sa banawe ng presyo...
May talyer kami (sa motor pool sa family business).. most likely sa pang ilalim na ganito.. doon ko na ipagawa... unless maraming pending na dapat unahin na mga truck namin... I think these jobs can wait naman so...
anyway.. hope you guys can recommend:
a. shops in banawe that can supply these parts (para makapag canvass)
b. parts diagram or drawing, etc. para ma visualize ko ang mga parts na to
Here are the parts being recommended for replacement:
1. Rack End
2. Tie Rod
3. Lower Suspension
4. Upper Arm
6. Lower Arm
7. LH / RH Stabilizer
8. Stabilizer Bushing
9. Steering Bushing
10. Stabilizer Bushing
11. Stabilizer Bushing (small)
12. Ball joint (lower)
13. Ball joint (upper)
14. Lower Suspension
15. Upper suspension
the list actually came in part from casa, and in part from our talyer nung pina tignan ko (after nung casa - sort of a second opinion)...
thanks in advance sa mga leads that you guys will share..

Wow halos buong pangilalim na yan sir. If I were in your shoes, go to banawe and get replacement parts. Hindi naman kailangan Orig yung mga yan. I get my parts na hindi honda sa lvc shop malapit sa metro bank.
Para lang sakin, if it ain't broke, don't touch it. Kung may kalampag na or maingay, dun na lang.
Edit: to visualize, alam ko meron repair manual yung mga ganyan.Last edited by [archie]; August 31st, 2013 at 01:35 PM.

555 brand is comparable sa OEM parts, Sa innova ko puro 555 brand na ang nakakabit, it is cheaper pero durable.

August 31st, 2013 03:28 PM #5Refer to the owner's manual. Sa mileage mo, maaring due for replacement mo yung suspension parts.
Bakal ata yun.

August 31st, 2013 03:54 PM #6exactly why i double check first... actually last time pms ko yung iba nabanggit na nila pero bushing lang pinapalitan ko sa talyer namin..
yung iba sa list carry over from last time around.. so possible hindi na inspect at history lang tinignan possible din na bine bentahan lang ako... now pinatakbo ko tao ko to canvass sa banawe still i think need malaman and ma prioritize kung ano ba talaga dapat ipagawa at palitan..

September 1st, 2013 10:59 PM #7found this link online and it even has the official part number (I suppose) :
ToyoDIY.com
ToyoDIY.com
essentially exploded drawings ng mga parts... from www.toyodiy.com parang may part numbers pa nakalagay... not sure lang kung part numbers yun ng Toyota mismo (orig) or part number ng OEM manufacturer na ... but looks good.. hehe..

Get a second opinion first although at that mileage (and wala pang pinapalitan), might as well do a one time, big time suspension overhaul.
For ball joints, rack end, and tie rods, you can go for 555. For suspension arm and it's bushings, OEM is still the best if you ask me (pricey though).
You can inquire at a shop like Toyorama in Banawe or Celica on Araneta Ave. for OEM and replacements (you can Google the contact numbers).

September 2nd, 2013 09:34 PM #9can you guys recommend a shop that can reliably fix this? marami rami backlog sa motor pool namin now and I don't want them to prioritize my service vehicle over other revenue generating units namin... hehe..
since I found a website with exploded drawings... i'll try to match the description given to the part numbers... and perhaps I can do a visual check on the parts and determine kung which ones ang kailangan na palitan... hehe...

IF you want cheap labor, kay Wheelers Suspension Haus. Just buy all your parts from Toyorama tapos punta ka kay Wheelers. Medyo mapila lang especially pag weekend and they are conservative in assessing parts that need replacement (kung pwede pa, pwede pa mentality); possibly because they know people are on a budget. Their alignment isn't as accurate anymore so normally i just go there to have what i know has to be done fixed then i have my alignment at my suking Servitek or Motech.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
