Greetings!
Damaged na po steering wheel ko, I'm planning po to have it covered with leather sa Seatmate. Can they really do it without any negative effect on the airbag? Sbi kasi kailangan talaga muna matanggal yung steering wheel. TIA

The airbag system must be deactivated first before doing any work on an airbag-equpped steering wheel. This is to avoid the accidental deployment of the airbag and/or the registration of an SRS fault in the car's ECU or computer.
If they know how to do it, there should be no problem.

Yup, disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes (to dissipate residual electricity).
Also, kung may separate fuse for the airbag, ask them to remove it too
