April 12th, 2006 09:11 PM #1Hi guys,
Just have a query regarding my shocks, since pina babaan ko sya, dahil sobra kc taas ng kotche ko at lagi sya napapansin na mataas. Now i have this feeling na medyo tumagtag sya at i think na tumatama sya when ever i am at the humps.besides that i also feel na halos wala na sya masyado bounce sa likod pag tinutulak ko sya pababa.
Tinangal kc nila yung parang goma dun na pinapatungan ng spring at medyo tinunaw yung spring ng konti. Bale ang space nya now is 2 fingers between from the tires and the upper body.My question is, if that is normal kapag mababa talaga msyado yung shocks ko???
Bka kc pataas ko naman yung likod ng konti for the passenger, para di naman ako sumayad ng todo pag may sakay na. Can somebody advice me what's the best sulution to my worries?
Thanks in advance!

You need stiffer shocks. Have your current ones refilled at Cruven or Zee or buy Bilsteins if you have a thick wallet.
If you want to increase your ride height a bit, you can get these so-called rubber lifters. There are lots of these in Banawe, with either .5 or 1 inch increase.

Tama yun. Either buy aftermarket gas shocks or have your stock shocks refurbished. And please chuck your cut springs and buy new lowering springs... cut springs are not very safe, and they put enough stress on your shocks and bushings to make them wear out prematurely... If you want to lower your car, you have to spend the money to do it right.

April 16th, 2006 07:29 PM #6Thanks guys,
My ride is a toyota 90.
And i'm planning to buy new springs nalang at the back and semi lowered at the front para di ko na langyan ng spacer at maging matagtag pag loaded.
Oks lang ba yun?

Usually, lowering springs are already staggered to be lower in front than at the back... so you can actually buy a full set.
