they are offering this rebonding service, instead of buying new brake pads for ur shoes, they'll rebond it while u wait. iba daw ang materials na gamit nila. rubberized daw, or something . has any one tried this service of theirs ?

I don't recommend rebonding of brakes, not safe, IMO.
Magkano na lang naman ang brakepads, mura lang naman, sigurado ka pa.
Bendix is okay.
some of our members have rebonded brakepads on their REAR disk brakes since walang available na pads para dun. oks lang naman. kung pang front, replace na lang siguro
there were cases that the material got detached from the metal.... service warranties are useless once you've met an accident due to this... be safe than sorry... this is one part that shouldn't be compromised...
unless proven na ang system ng gumagawa...
get bendix nalang. price isn't far off and you'll be safer in the long run.
correct me if im wrong na lang pero di ba yung mga original na brake pads eh naka bond lang din?
i will, can someone tell me where to buy original bendix brake pads for rear wheel drive applications ?
brandnew bendix pads are just P500-900+ depending on the car, san ka pa?
If you want something cheaper, buy R-Spec instead. They are around 400 or so only. Downside is less stopping power, but definitely surer than brake rebonding.
mine still orig but mga 1 yr nlang gamit n2 palitan ko na ng bago... sa friend ko na may ari ng shop di talaga advisable rebonding.
if you can't spend the 1k+/- for good brakes you don't deserve to own a car. you're endangering yourself and others driving around you.
ok lang magtipid kayo pero sana naman nasa tamang lugar.
Ok lang ipa-Cruven ang suspension. Pero kung brakes ang usapan, just get new pads. Bendix is not that expensive. Yan ang gamit namin for almost the whole fleet with no problems whatsoever. For brake shoes, minsan mahirap talaga maghanap ng replacement. At least the rear brakes only carry about 20% of the load.

bendix is decent. pero maingay! ilang weeks pa lang, maingay na agad. hmph. same thing happened with my last pads which was(were?) also bendix, i experienced less noise when i used r-spec but, gaya ng sabi sa taas, medyo mahina performance.
