Sorry po, medyo old school question.

During my younger days (hmmm, 10 years ago)

Not unless National talaga gamit mong brake fluid, pero still di mo siya pwede dagdagan Prestone.

So nowadays...

If you want to add brake fluid by yourself, safe pa din ba Prestone?

"Since DOT 4 and 5.1 are both glycol-based brake fluids they are compatible with each other, which means they can be readily mixed without harming your brake system. ... By mixing DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluids, assuming it is fresh fluid, the worst thing that can happen is a drop in the boiling point of the whole fluid."

i checked my brake fluid level and it is between the max and low. I dont add. because i know the brake pads are near getting worn off.

tanong lang, kung pudpod na ang brake pads mo, does this lead to frequent brake fluid lessening?

hindi naman umaabot sa low level warning. the brakes will squeal before it reaches the sensor in the reservoir. i think every reservoir has a sensor.
