Mazda power steering problem...

need help sa power steering ng Mazda namin. may tagas na kasi yung hose nung sa power steering ng Familia namin. san ba ayos magpagawa nito and how much?

Try ninyo po sa mga Ford Dealers. I recall they also service Mazda Familia Cars since their Lynx is a rebadge Familia. You may also have it serviced sa Sprint sa Banawe and have the puntured hose replaced. ;)

only ford quezon ave and ford balintawak are authorized service centers ng mazda sa banawe nga...cheaper pa...i recall mga 5k +/- for the original hose

saan pong shop sa Banawe merong ganon? and question po uli, may kinalaman ba ang aircon compressor sa power steering? kc palitin na rin kc yung compressor ng Familia.

Kung hose lang, just go to A.Bonifacio St. (yung sa dulo ng Banawe). Madaming gumagawa ng hydraulic hoses dun. They will happily make one for you for a lot less than what a 'pre-made' or OEM hose would cost. You can also choose what kind of hose you want for it.

We usually go for those reinforced ones used for heavy equipment.

Wala pong relasyon ang a/c at p/s.

i had my P/S hose fixed sa "ever car check center" near the corner of m. cuenco and banawe (right side, coming from QC circle).

fabricated bale yung hose, about 1900 yata (or was it 1100..)

there is no connection between the P/S and A/C, pero (at least sa 626 ko) they are driven by the same belt, and kung mag-leak yung P/S pump, natutuluan yung A/C compressor and it could possibly get damaged.

if you find na your P/S pump needs to be fixed, the ever car check people can do it for 2500 or so (mga 2000 yung repair kit eh).

btw, a member of our org had a leaking upper power steering hose...nadale alternator niya...so paayos na yan kung upper at baka mapagastos ka...
