auto ko po pala is lancer itlog 96 GLI. newly repaired suspension and power steering. one finding po pala is mejo di equal on both sides ang front caster ko. could that be the reason sa pagbigat ng steering?
input po mga gurus. salamat!

a few factors in change of steering effort requirement are:
low power steering assist
too much positive caster
low tire pressure
worn out ball joints
worn out tie rods
binding linkages
bigger size tires than what is prescribed by the manufacturer
any one of these or a combination of these possible factors increases the steering effort dramatically

February 6th, 2010 02:25 PM #4Computerized alignment ba ang ginawa? If so makikita mo sa print out before & after kung ano ang situasyon ng gulong. Normally 2 weeks warranty ang alignment. Balik mo sa pinagawaan.

salamat po uli sa mga help mga bro. in summary, ang nangyare eh hindi daw calibrated ang computer ng unang shop na nag-align. at least that's what the 2nd shop claimed. and sabi ng 2nd shop na theirs was newly acquired just 1 month so they are sure that theirs is calibrated. naging ok naman na ang steering, super gaan nga lang. now I don't know if that's another issue

Di kaya magaan sobrang gaang ng steering mo before ka mag pa repair and alignment? The tightness of your steering could be attributed to the new components of your car. Baka yan ang stock feel nyan. Pede rin na over tighten yun screw (if ever there is one) sa gearbox mo. Check mo din play ng steering.
wala kasi kwenta kahit ano pa tollroad yan eh kung sabay-sabay kayou uuwi. Ang lunas talaga jan...
