Lowering your car with springs only will make the ride rougher(matagtag). if your still running on stock shocks, you should replace it with stronger ones(heavy duty) that are designed to match your lowering springs.
The ride is still going to be firm but with noticeably less "tagtag" and bottoming out and your shocks will last longer.
if you really want more comfort with a lowered ride, consider coilovers.
i've tried H&R sport + Bilstein yellows and it rides nicely even on rough roads.

First thing you need to learn is the spring is part of your suspension along with the shocks, anti-roll bar, etc. The shocks control the springs, it dampens the energy released by the spring when you hit bumps. If you used a lowering spring in conjunction with your stock shocks you will have the bouncy feel that you have now and maybe even blow the shocks later on if the spring rate is not what the stock shocks are meant to work with. Your stock shocks are made to work with the stock springs and the shocks travel works with the length of the stock springs. If you change it to a lowering spring then you are keepring the shocks partially compressed even when it is parked and not a allowing the shock to use its full travel when you are driving the car.
