July 13th, 2007 06:18 PM #11why not do a resin duplicate... mura lang naman if you have some spare money... yun sa dmax...i estimate na aabutin lang ako ng about P250-500 a piece (all in na yun - R&D and molds and final product) without paint.
kung iDIY mo yan baka less pa nga (depending on the material you want to use).

i followed sir niky's advice na lang, kaso ala ako makita rubberized epoxy sa mga hardware na pinuntahan ko, so i used pioneer sealant na lang, rubberized din sya, nilagyan ko mga clips nung cap tas kinabit ko, hope it holds out.
anyway ang problema ko na lang is if someone tries to steal them (yung tipong gusto talaga nakawin) masisira nya or magagasgasan nya yung mag wheels ko sa center.
best solution talaga yung sabi ni jagxtrm, wag na lang lagyan!!! i tried it kaso di ko talaga matiis, i even painted the center of the rotor discs para maganda tignan pero iba talaga yung may cap, mas maganda kasi tignan eh.

Mine were coming loose... used electrical tape to wedge them in further.
Hope the glue works for you. Mas maganda talaga yung rubberized or flexible, as the hard epoxy tends to crack.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I did two things on two different set of mags.
1.) painted the whole mags and caps with a different shade of the same color. Even went to the extent of putting a nicer logo at the cap. Hindi siya bibilhin dahil magmumukang awkward sa lalagyan na original mags.
2.) Stamped the plate number at the cap ala cattle rancher style. Inisip ko ang lupit ko sa cap pero turned out ok. Parang side walls ng gulong pero ito plate number. Parang gusto ko din lagyan ng luminous para kita sa gabi.Last edited by 4JGtootsie; July 19th, 2007 at 12:46 PM.

I used Bondo clear sealant. Less than P200 sa Ace Hardware.
Not for anti-theft purposes, but it came loose when I had my ride underwashed. Tinamaan kasi ng pressurized hose.

haha bigla ko naalala, the time will come i need to buy new tires, i need to have them wheel balanced, so kelangan ko tanggalin yung sealant from behind, eh kung pwersahin ko lang na i push from behind? how big will the damage be?
I don't know why people continue to try and take Kennon Road from Rosario. Its perpetually being...
