my car is an isuzu xto. i changed tires recently due to uneven tire wear, as suggested, i have to bring my car for a wheel alignment. wheels were realigned but to my dismay, it sways to the right. i brought it back to the same service center. but still the same, kabig sa kanan. i decided to bring it to other shop, the mechanic there suggested that i should change upper ball joint and tie rod ends. but still the same, kabig sa kanan. naiinis na talag ako dito, balance naman daw ang alignment. but i want walang kabig. any suggestions or possible reasons why kabig pa rin sa kanan?

Make sure na halos patag ang daan, madalas kasi sa mga daan natin, pakanan ang declivity para sa tubig-ulan (yata)...

Ang camber, iyun ang measure ng pagka-PERPENDICULAR ng gulong sa kalsada.

Better yet, read up on alignment here:

dapat pina camber correction mo muna then wheel alignment then wheel balancing para sigurado.

    check mo din preno mo.

napa check mo na ba ang pangilalim mo kasi kaya ka merong uneven wear sa tires merong sira na part dito. pagsiguradong naayos na lahat then thats the time palit kana ng gulong and pa wheel balance and alignment.

a good tire auto shop should have the equipment to determine the necessity of adjusting camber/caster on top of wheel alignment. i hope hindi ka doon sa shop na nag-aalign using laser lang. wala naman talagang 100% accurate alignment kasi laging within tolerance lang ang habol ng mekaniko. i think changing ball joints & tie rods apply only kung may vibration ang steering wheels at umuuga ang wheels, plus of course may squeaking coming from loose ball joint. kung sa level surface, within 10 meters siguro obvious ang kabig, this could be cause for alarm pero kung mga 50 meters bago lumihis ang sasakyan sa straight line of travel, acceptable na siguro yun.
my 2 cents...further subject sa comments ng experts dito but this is base on experience.

if alignment is OK your suspension is in need of CAMBER / CASTER adjustment but for your case "na may kabig" it would require CASTER adjustment but before doing this have your torsion bar bushings replaced.. adjustments should be made in small increments as this may damage you suspension arm
