Guys, naaksidente Vios ko last month and pinalitan yung tie rod, suspension and iba pang parts sa ilalim. Ano kaya yun?

I would think it's the hydraulic power steering pump. Unless you have electric power steering, then it may be the motor making the sound.

Electric PS na yung 09 Vios ko. Plus usually pag PS problem, when you turn your steering wheel pag stationary yung kotse, it would still make a sound. Itong sa akin pag umaandar lang ng mabagal tumutunog...

if you had to replace the tie rod and other parts, chances are your splash shield to your brake rotor (just like the backing plate on your rear drum brakes) might be intermittently rubbing against the brake rotor or the wheel. if the noise is high pitched but faint, check your engine splash shield too. if the cotter pin for the tie rod end was not installed properly, it might rub on the wheel when you turn. look for signs of metal dust or fresh rust stains

Yup it is the splash shield behind the brake rotor nga. We just pushed it a little and the sound disappeared. Thanks so much guys!
