gud pm mga paps pa help naman about my lancer ex glx 2010 i just got my 25k pms today i have an issue about tok sound everytym i turn my steering and i tell my concerned to the service advisor and they checked it the result the tok sound is coming from the rack and pinion although there is no leak.. any one have the same problem or help me about this issue tnx in advance

your s.a. is referring to your tierods (part ng rack and pinion na napapalitan naman). worn tierods esp the inner (rackend) will cause tok sounds when turning.

aah sir anu po ung "s.a"? ung sabi kc sa casa nid to replace the rack and pinion tinanong ko mag kano ung ganon eh napakamanahal naman pala well mahal naman talaga pag sa casa my isa pang options i pa overhaul daw its worth 25k daw ??

sir what if d ko inaus ung tok sounds sa rack and pinion anu kaya mangyari d po ba nakakasama un? gusto ko rin sana mag pa second opinion sa ibang mechanics para maka sure bigat lng kc nung presyo nung cnabi sakin sa casa?

s.a.= service advisor. normally ang mga car manufacturer ay hindi nag sa suggest na palitan ang inner tierod, kung sira ito they always want it to change the whole rack and pinion. dalhin mo na lang sa trusted talyer mo or sa mga shops na sanay sa suspension and steering. you will also need wheel alignment pag napalitan na mga tierods.
