Pirelli Scorpion is better but pricey. If you can afford it, then I suggest you get them.

May 5th, 2012 08:54 AM #4thanks sir. :-) how about yung mickey thompson stz. gawa na yata ng cooper ngayon yun. ok pa kaya yung quality for our local road conditions? anybody who has tried it?
the pirelli's manufacturing date pala is jan 2011 while the dueler is sept 2011. ok pa ba kumuha ng ganung stock kahit nasa bodega lang nung shop?

Tires should have a safe useful life of 6 years. So safe yan pareho. Mickey thompson are the high-end variant of cooper nga, they are excellent as well. I guess depende na lang sa gusto mong design ng sidewall at thread magkakatalo. But having tried Pirelli, Bstone and Cooper, i would say the best talaga yang Pirelli Scorpion. Haven't tried BFG TA KO though, isa rin yan sa very commendable ang experiences ng mga tsikot members na nakasubok.

May 6th, 2012 01:12 AM #6Thanks sir Ry_Tower. I'm having inclinations on getting the Pirellis. Have tried the Duellers on my other car and so far ok naman. Halos magka price din pala yun Pirelli and the Mickey Thompson. Mas may dating nga lang yung Mickeys pero I like the thread design of the Pirelli Scorpion better.

I also prefer the Scorpions design. You can also check if meron lang naman yung Federal Couragia at Cooper Discoverer AT3.
Just remember, you have plenty of very good tires to choose from if budget is not a problem.Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!

Pirelli scorpion a/t user here, the reason i chose this is the price. Bridgestone sana pero mahal but i already tried it also (dueler a/t) before di ko lang kaya bumili ng apat kaya sa pirelli ako napunta. Got the brazil made btw.
