Bigger disk brakes for my Honda civic SIR

Mga guys help me out may nakita kasi ako nung isang araw sa surplusan na 13inch rotors for my civic nag tataka lang ako kung mag kakasya sya kasi ung mag ko 15 inch lng ehh iniisip ko bka sumabit na ung caliper ko sa mags pag nag palit ako ng malaking rotor! Help me out naman jan mga gurus! TIA

That's what I would say... besides, hindi ba 5-stud hub yung nasa big brakes? Is this aftermarket ba or surplus off an Integra?

Malabong magkasya yung 13" sa 15" na mags, even if you have the calipers shaved down.

if you want more braking power, you can simply upgrade your brake pads.

Go with the pads upgrade first (bendix metal kings, project mu, etc...);it's worth its weight in gold.

mas maganda pa po ba yan kesa sa tanabe or ebc? how much po ung metal king? yan po ung may halong bakal ung brake pads right?

Upgrade your brake pads instead of getting bigger disk for the front. If you do decide you want bigger brakes make sure you get the full kit because just changing the front disk without upgrading your brake booster and changing your brake bias to match can actually cause you to have longer braking distance. Also a 13" disk will not fit in a 15" rim.

you can also upgrade to steel braided brake lines. last upgrade lagi ang bigger discs.

unless you are into circuit racing... upgrading to bigger discs are not worth it.

13 inch rotors are huge... those are bigger pa than the brembo rotors on an evo. sure ka 13 inch yun?

pero pede po ba un pag nag palit ako ng 16" rims kasi ang balak ko po gawing 13" rotors ung harap tas ung stock na nasa harap lilipat ko sa likod! pang porma lang naman po habol ko para sa mga street shows at minsan pinang ddrag race din ung oto!

di mo pwede lipat rotors mo sa harap sa likod. ventilated harap, likod mo solid dapat. get type r brakes nalang. mga 40+k siguro aabutin nun with the rims

unless your vehicles originally comes with four-wheel ventilated discs, NO.

ahh ok! kahit po ba mag palit ako ng rear calipers na para sa ventelated rotors hinde parin pede??

calipers meant for ventilated rotors wont fit a solid disc rotor.

ang balak ko nga po kung pwede up size ako ng front rotors ko tas ung stock nung front lipat ko sa likod tas palitan ko ung rear calipers ng pang ventilated rotors!

mas maganda yung suggestion ni speedyfix to get type R brakes nalang.
